Be Safe Driving School is a driving school in Eugene, Oregon, that trains people to earn a driver's license and drive well after they have it.
A drivers license training school teaches the rules of the road and the habits that keep a driver out of trouble. That means classroom work plus time behind the wheel with an instructor in the next seat. Be Safe Driving School describes two kinds of learners: people driving for the very first time, and experienced adults who want to sharpen their habits.
The school's website names a teen traffic safety course. Its tagline describes lessons with a private instructor. The stated method is risk management: spotting hazards early and driving to avoid them, with the aim of a driver who is safe, confident and responsible.
Eugene had 178,618 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau, and sits in Lane County. About 75 percent of homes in the town heat with electricity, per the American Community Survey.
The school reports that Kelly LeBarre is the owner and the only instructor. Students work with the same teacher from the first class to the last. The website says the classroom stays small so no student gets lost in a crowd.
The school states that its instructor is certified through ODOT and the DMV. It also lists the business as licensed, bonded and insured. The owner says being a parent shapes the teaching, and describes lessons as calm, structured and patient.
Time on the road takes place in a hybrid electric car. The school describes this as part of an eco-conscious approach, so students learn to drive with sustainability in mind.
Be Safe Driving School holds a 5.0 rating from 26 reviews. Reviewers most often mention patient teaching, a clear rise in student confidence, and written feedback after each drive that parents can use for practice at home. Several also note firm expectations: students are told to attend every class and arrive prepared.
The school's website says enrollment for Winter and Spring 2027 is now open.

Recommend as a must for any new driver. The teacher Kelly, is engaging and connects well with the student drivers. My daughter loved her and felt very comfortable learning with her. She retained all the constructive feedback and passed her drive test the first go around. All materials are provided and accessible at any time. It's worth the cost and the time for the in class and behind the wheel training. I would put my kiddo through this course again if I had to do it over.
Kelly at Be Safe Driving School is awesome! She is patient and encouraging. Our Daughter loved Kelly’s teaching style and enjoyed all of the classes and drives. Thank you for helping grow a confident and safe driver, we are so grateful!
The only driving instructor you need! I bought the private lessons & 10/10 recommend. Thank you so much Kelly!
